Sorry - there isn't any heraldry, 

or to be more precise, this researcher hasn't found any genuine coat of arms registered by the British Heraldic Authorities that are associated with the name.   I prefer to stick to the English laws of Heraldry which make it quite clear that Arms belong to the person to whom they were granted, during their lifetime, they are as personal as a signature.  There is no such thing as "Family Arms" and in any case no Bandy has ever held arms.

Nevertheless, we have been offered three different coats of arms which some people claim are associated with the Bandy name:

1     One of the more popular heraldic/name research agencies will be happy to tell you that the name is French and show you (and sell you) a coat of arms associated with that family.  The earliest French record of the Surname was GILBERT BANDY (date not stated) Count of Naleche, a member of the 23rd Dragoon Regiment. However we have NEVER reliably traced any French connections to the early UK or US families, therefore we conclude that these arms cannot apply to our Bandy lines

I would be really pleased if anybody could tell me where numbers 2 and 3 originated.
