Birth* | 31 Jan 1881 | Frederick J Blake , son of Jesse Blake and Ann Marie Bandy, was born on Monday, 31 Jan 1881; Please find attached the death certificate for Ann. She and Jesse had one child - Frederick Blake born on 31st January 1881 and she died just 6 days later. Frederick stayed with his grandparents - Ann's parents - until his father re-married (Sarah Wall). He moved to Windsor with his father but returned to Hemel around age 18-20 and worked as a shepherd. Frederick Blake married Ellen Gertrude Daniels (known as Nell) on 18th September 1907. He returned to Windsor in later life but I have no other information - my mother remembers a "Fred & Nell" living in the Spittal area of Windsor so I would assume they are buried in the cemetery there. regards Jackie.2 |
