Jane (?) and '1815' Richard Bandy [Some interpret this as Ruth being Richard's second wife. We do not believe this is so. In the original Source Ref:533 the body of the bond definitely names Richard Bandy, not Ruth. The surety signature looks like 'Rich...' to us with the '...' standing for something that was there but now unreadable because of deterioration of the document at a fold. Neglecting the '...' one could possibly interpret the signature as 'Ruth'].³
