Notes from Phamplet:
1. William was a Republican and took it very seriously.

2. Married Lucy Sublett at Big Tunnel in Montgomery Co. Witnesses were: William and Sally Sublett. Minister was John
Runsberg. Big Tunnel is near Den Hill.

William Floyd, his wife Lucy, and his son, Ellis all contracted the Flu about the same time. Ellis was out fox hunting and
contracted it. He may have passed it to the others. William Floyd was in bed sick when Lucy and Ellis' Flu went to
pneumonia and they both died. Lucy died one week before Ellis. William laid in bed by his window and watched both being
buried above their house, the "Doyle Cemetery". After Lucy's death, William moved and lived with his daughter, Jessie.

Jessie had done some nursing so thought she could take care of him. He died of kidney failure.
